The 12 week Ment-Horse program is designed for middle and high school students that are struggling academically, socially, and emotionally. Integrating activities with an educator, a therapist, and equine therapy specialist alongside our herd of therapy horses to meet student-specific needs and goals.
Students will spend time with an experienced educator for mentorship acting as another trusted resource for guidance, organizing, and accountability with their academics.
The bulk of Solia Farm’s Ment-Horse program will focus on building a working relationship with an assigned therapy horse, equine therapy specialist, and mental health professional.*
Engaging equine therapy exercises guide students to build trust, improve self-esteem, develop important life skills, and mental well being.
Our goal with Ment-Horse is to see improvement in students’s relationships, life strategies, academic performance, school attendance, and overall well-being .

Priced at just $90 per session, Ment-Horse offers a comprehensive 2-hour program that seamlessly integrates Equine Therapy, Education Mentoring, and the expertise of a Licensed Mental Health Provider, making it an exceptional value.
When considering these services separately, the costs can quickly escalate. For instance, Equine Therapy alone ranges from $70 to $200 per hour, while Education Mentoring can vary from $35 to $120 per hour. Similarly, a session with a Licensed Mental Health Provider may cost between $90 and $280 per hour.
These individual expenses can accumulate rapidly, potentially totaling up to $600 per week!
By combining these services into one cohesive program, Ment-Horse not only offers significant cost savings but also ensures a more efficient and holistic approach to supporting students' academic, social, and emotional needs.
