I was born and raised in Naples, Maine where my love of horses grew early. At the age of twelve, I was given horseback riding lessons for my birthday. It lead to me attending college in Pennsylvania where I acquired my BS in equine science. Since finishing college I have worked in several programs.
I found my true calling while working with at risk youth in 2002 using horse therapy. It gave me a deep joy seeing those youth working, and connecting with horses. This unique alignment allowed those youth to be more aware of their actions, gain empathy, and build more healthy relationships.
Since then I have worked and volunteered at several other therapeutic programs all over the country.
In 2019 I received my certificate in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy from O.K. Corral Series . I’m always updating my training, and studying the latest in EAP.
I can’t wait to come along side you in your journey to healing.
